Short version: we count visits anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics — no cookies, nothing stored on your device, and "Decline" stops it. Only if you click "Accept" do we load our travel partner Travelpayouts, which can turn links into affiliate links and set cookies. You can change your choice below.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information — like your login state, language preference, or whether you've already seen a banner. They're used by almost every website on the internet.
Some cookies are essential (the site doesn't work without them). Others are optional (analytics, advertising, personalization).
2. What we use on osyren.app
This is the full list — short and honest:
Essential storage (always active)
- Cookie consent preference — we save your choice (Accept/Decline) and the policy version it applies to in your browser's local storage so we don't show you the banner on every visit. This isn't technically a cookie, it's localStorage, and it never leaves your device.
- Language preference — your selected language (EN/RO/IT/ES) is saved in localStorage so the site loads in your language next time.
Anonymous visit statistics — unless you decline
- Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., which also hosts this site) — counts page views, visitor countries, devices (mobile/desktop), browsers, operating systems and the site you came from. It does not use cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visitors are identified by an anonymous hash of the request, automatically discarded after 24 hours. We see only aggregated numbers: no personal information is collected and no cross-site tracking happens. The page address is sent without anything after "?" or "#".
Visitors who have not chosen yet are counted anonymously. If you click "Decline", nothing is sent — from that moment on and on every later visit.
Travel partner — only if you accept
- Travelpayouts (affiliate network, an independent controller) — its script turns links to travel services on this site into affiliate links, so we may earn a commission, and it can load partner code and set cookies to attribute bookings. It is loaded only after you click "Accept". See the privacy policy on travelpayouts.com for details.
If you accepted before September 14, 2026, we ask you again, because that choice did not cover this partner.
3. What we do NOT use
- No advertising cookies — we don't run ads.
- No social media tracking pixels — no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag.
- No Google Analytics — we chose Vercel's privacy-friendly alternative instead.
- No fingerprinting — we don't try to identify you by your device's unique characteristics.
- No other third-party trackers — only the anonymous statistics above, and Travelpayouts only if you accept.

4. How to control cookies in your browser
Beyond our consent banner, you can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Each browser has different controls:
5. Future changes
If we ever add new tracking tools (for example, if we decide to use Google Analytics, or add chat widgets that track behavior), we will:
- Update this Cookie Policy and the "Last updated" date.
- Show the banner again to give you a fresh choice.
- Never enable tracking cookies or partner scripts without your explicit consent.
